The Computer Room at Ocean Hills Country Club has often been described as the best ever seen at a community clubhouse.  The Computer Room is open whenever the clubhouse is open, and is free and available for use by any resident unless a class is scheduled.  The door is locked whenever the room is unoccupied, but the access key is available at the clubhouse front desk.

The Computer Room is a friendly place to do tasks on equipment that you might not have at home.  We have seven PCs with Windows 7 installed.  One of the PCs has Windows 8 installed in a dual-boot mode.  We also have seven Macintoshes with Yosemite installed.  The Macintoshes can also be booted into Windows 7.  There is an inkjet printer/copier/scanner.  We also have a laser black and white printer.  Two overhead monitors allow students to see instructor screens when a class is being held.  Internet is available both through LAN lines to the desktop computers and wi-fi for laptops, tablets, and phones.

Every month the computer club offers Help Sessions where resident "certified technicians" help people that stop by the computer room by answering computer questions or resolving their computer issues.  We also offer classes ranging from "Beginning Computers" to "Microsoft Word Training" to "Yosemite Operating System".  Classes are also taught about iPads, iPhones, and Androids.  See our calendar of activities here.  Training sessions use a Sign-Up Sheet for admittance. Sign up at the Front Desk.

Please use your Computer Room.  Surf the web", check your e-mail, come to a Help Session, log in to Ancestry.com and create your family tree, or be trained on various computer applications by our "Instructors".
